Dr. Sandon Wiedemann was born and raised in Medicine Hat, Alberta. After high school he moved to Edmonton where he attended the University of Alberta and graduated with a B.Sc. in Physiology and Development. Dr. Wiedemann then moved across the continent to Cleveland, Ohio where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Case Western Reserve. Upon graduation he was awarded a scholarship for Excellence in Clinical Achievement. After practicing dentistry in the Cleveland area he began to miss home and decided to move back to Calgary to spend more time with his family.
Dr. Wiedemann is committed to providing high quality care in a relaxed environment for each and every patient. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and finds having a patient leave an appointment with a smile on their face the most rewarding part. Dr. Wiedemann is also dedicated to continuing his education outside of the office to improve the care he provides and keep up to date with the most advanced techniques and materials available.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Wiedemann enjoys living an active lifestyle and enjoys being close to the mountains for hiking, camping and snowboarding. During his time in Cleveland he was involved with leadership roles and volunteering at the local free clinic and looks forward to giving back similarly to the community of Calgary for years to come.
