  • Dental Cleanings & Checkups

Dental cleanings are key to maintaining healthy teeth and gums. During a dental cleaning appointment, our dentist or dental hygienist will remove bacteria, plaque and tartar buildup from your teeth surfaces. They may also perform other preventive services during the same visit, such as dental sealants and fluoride treatments.

  • Oral Cancer Screenings

Early detection and treatment is essential when it comes to any form of cancer. Our team is happy to provide a thorough oral cancer screening for each of our patients to ensure that they have the best chance at successful treatment and recovery.

Restorative Dentistry

Whatever the reasons, sometimes our dental health is compromised and we need restorative work. Whether it’s a bit of decay that needs to be addressed, a chipped tooth, root canals to eliminate the pain caused by compromised nerves in the tooth/root structure, or dental implants that allow you to regain full function of compromised teeth, we do it all!

  • Dental Fillings

  • Dental Crowns

  • Dental Inlays and Onlays

  • Dental Bridges

  • Dental Implants

  • Dentures

Cosmetic Dentistry

The key to a great smile is healthy and strong teeth. However, sometimes we need a bit of help to get our smile and function to where we’d like it to be. We offer a wide variety of cosmetic dental procedures to improve the overall appearance of your teeth and smile.

  • Dental Crowns

  • Porcelain Veneers and Laminates

  • Teeth Whitening

Sometimes dentistry is not just cleanings and your standard drill and fill procedures. Many of our patients opt into cosmetic dental procedures. We specialize in many such procedures and have extensive training and the tools and equipment to perform them to gain the results you are looking for.

Invisalign®

Our Invisalign® dentist and team will take x-rays, pictures, and digital impressions of your teeth. From these images, we will map out a treatment plan, which includes the proposed movement of your teeth. This 3-D imaging technology is really detailed, and we’ll even be able to show you what your teeth will look at each stage of treatment, not just the end! Since all of this is done before the Invisalign® aligners being fabricated, you will have a chance to actually see and assess the final result before committing to treatment.

  • Overly Crowded Teeth. Over-crowding of teeth can lead to plaque accumulation, tooth decay, and more.

  • Spaced Teeth. Too much space between teeth can often be treated using Invisalign®.

  • Crossbite. Crossbite means that the upper and lower jaws are not properly aligned. This can lead to abnormal tooth wear and chipping, and other problems.

At Bridgeland Dental Care, all completed Invisalign® cases include complimentary teeth whitening!

BOTOX

Botox is an injectable treatment that is administered to specific points in the face to temporarily relax your muscles.

Cosmetic Botox brings a vivid difference in the appearance of moderate to severe dynamic wrinkles, those wrinkles you can’t avoid when you make certain facial expressions. Injections are administered to temporarily relax your muscles and create a younger, smoother look.

Botox can also be used for therapeutic purposes. Since its primary function is to relax facial muscles, it can help relieve pain from tight jaws and other facial muscles that cause tension and headaches.

Cosmetic Injectables have been on the consumer market with full FDA and Health Canada approval for over 10 years and has been extensively researched in over 2,400 medical studies. Botox is considered completely safe if administrated correctly by a trained professional. today!

Laser Cold Sore Treatment

A more effective way to treat cold sores is through laser therapy.

If you already have a cold sore, laser treatment can speed healing and greatly reduce the pain and discomfort. Repeated laser therapy can even prevent cold sores from returning in the same area.

Cold sores are most effectively treated before they develop a crust, so as soon as the sore begins to feel tingly or itchy. Laser treatment may prevent the cold sore from breaking out altogether or recurring in the future.

Root Canal Therapy

Root canal treatment is the process of removing infected or injured tissue (pulp) from inside the crown and roots of a tooth. Once cleaned, the canal is disinfected, shaped, filled and sealed with natural rubber-like material called gutta percha.

When tooth decay is left untreated, it makes its way to the center of your tooth, called the pulp. The pulp is where all the essential nerves and blood vessels are, that provide nutrients to your tooth.

Root canals eliminate tooth infections that, left untreated, could cause serious issues like:

  • Infection that spreads to other teeth
  • Jawbone damage
  • Tooth loss

Tooth
Extractions

At Bridgeland Dental Care we prefer to save natural teeth whenever possible. But sometimes, other restorative methods — such as dental fillings or dental crowns — aren’t enough. If your tooth has been badly damaged past the point of repair, then removal may be necessary. Your dentist may recommend tooth extraction if you have:

  • Severe tooth decay (cavities)
  • A fractured tooth
  • An impacted tooth
  • Crowded teeth
  • Severe gum disease
  • Tooth luxation or other dental injuries

Tooth extraction offers a number of benefits. Most importantly, it reduces harmful bacteria that can damage your teeth and gums. Left untreated, a decayed or damaged tooth can wreak havoc on your smile, causing a domino effect of problems. Removing your affected tooth gives you the best chance for optimal oral health. Additionally, a tooth extraction can help ease dental pain almost immediately — especially if your tooth was severely broken or infected.
